Where’s The Brake?

(Isaiah 26:3) “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Do you feel like you are going so fast in life that your wheels are going to come off? In the midst of these fast paced days I guess we all have a membership in that club. Bless the sweetest Name known to man, Jesus, we can rest in the knowledge that He will keep us on the tract, (in perfect peace) as we focus our thoughts on Him. We can indeed not only endure but triumph in this thing we call the human race through Christ who loves us.

Isaiah reminds us that our God will not only give us peace but keep us in “perfect” or complete peace. That is a peace that will sustain us all the way to the finish line God has for us. How can we accomplish that? Through faith, “because he trusteth in thee.” We can trust God to fully supply, to precisely direct and continually strengthen us for the race the He has set before us. He will not give us a course that we are not able, through Christ to finish. “I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13.
